On August 3 and 4, 2019, a traditional archery tournament was held in Pliska. It was attended by over 50 archers, divided into 3 categories: children, where the winner was David Danev, women with the winner Yulia Tenincheva and men, where the best was Nikolay Kyurchev. There were archers who have a historically designed bow and lack an arrowhead. The tournament took place in two stages: mixed and 3D. In the mixed stage, the shooters were aimed at targets with a diameter of 8 cm to 40 cm, and the 3D targets were rabbit, beaver, fox, boar and bear.
SC “Niagara’s archers” didn’t take part in the event, but we wish success to our colleagues in the traditional archery.
